Armed Security Officer (Part Time)

Sentinel Spear Protective Services is recruiting serious, disciplined, and reliable Armed Security Officers who understand that security is a responsibility — not a timecard.

We are a family-owned company built on professionalism, integrity, and real protective presence. Our clients trust us because our officers don’t just wear a uniform — they represent it.

If you take pride in your craft, we want to talk to you.

  • You must be available for:

    • Tuesday: 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM

    • Wednesday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

    • Thursday: 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM

    • Sunday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

    If you cannot commit to these hours, do not apply.

  • For officers who prove themselves through reliability and performance:

    • Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 3:15 PM

    • Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 3:15 PM

    • Thursday: 8:30 AM – 3:15 PM

    These hours are earned — not given.

  • • Starting average wage: $19 – $21 per hour

    • Final rate depends on the officer’s experience, training, and professional credentials

    • Level II and Level III officers may qualify for higher compensation based on qualifications

    • Additional hours are offered to officers who consistently meet company standards

  • This is an armed post. Officers must provide their own firearm.

    • Must be legally owned and compliant with Florida law

    • Must meet company safety and operational standards

    • Firearm will be inspected before assignment

    • Equipment must be maintained in professional condition at all times

    If your equipment is not service-ready, this is not the right fit.

  • Perfect English is not required — professionalism is.

    You must be able to:

    • Understand commands in English

    • Communicate clearly over radio

    • Provide basic customer service when needed

  • This is an active security role.

    • No personal cellphone use while on duty

    • Continuous patrols (foot and golf cart)

    • Alert, engaged, and professional presence at all times

  • • Florida Class D License

    • Florida Class G License

    • Professional appearance and demeanor

    • Reliable transportation

    • Strong situational awareness
